One of the most sweat-inducing experiences of one’s life is probably the first date. Getting and having a date is hard, but there are ways to overcome it, as shared by The Ridge Wood Blog. The bothering question we all have of “am I going to end up alone?” is a good start and probably should motivate you to go out and meet your better half even though, yes, you are going to end up alone.
Listen to Your Date
I cannot emphasize this enough. If you are not Don Draper, you should remember the story he told about how a horse woke her up and made her laugh. Step two is to bring it up later in a different conversation. It is called a reference or call back, and you don’t have to be Dennis Miller to be good at it. It will make you seem interested and funny, even if neither is true. Now you are one step closer to another date.
Be Presentable
Wear something that suits you and makes you look like a typical human being. Your girlfriend probably won’t remember you because you wore a T-shirt with an ironic slogan, she will keep you because you followed the first step. Just like clothes, it is an important incentive to smell good, which well received by women. The stronger your smell, the more your future partner will sit close.
Practice Good Communication
It doesn’t matter where you go or what you do. It doesn’t. Whether you go skydiving or play mini-putt or lie on the grass and look at the stars, the only thing that matters is that there is a clear line of communication. It is what grown-up’s do. They talk to each other.
